PROFLEX™ GE-S Series is a pre-formulated and pelletized general-purpose thermoplastic elastomer compound based on styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS) block copolymer.
It is designed for injection molding of translucent, clean, food contact, and medical device applications. This material exhibits excellent flow properties and offers molded articles with improved surface finish and excellent rubbery feeling.
It also has wide service temperature range (-40℃ to 95℃). It is suitable for soft parts exposed to sub-zero temperature because of its excellent low temperature brittleness.
Being a thermoplastic elastomer, PROFLEX™ GE-S Series can be easily processed with general processing equipment and tools designed for thermoplastics and yet possess elastomeric properties at ambient temperatures.
